Jean Melito - Administrative Support Specialist

Jeannie is delighted to be a part of the Life Home Health team.  Jeannie and her husband relocated to Naples Florida in 2010 from the great state of Connecticut.  When Jeannie lived in the northeast she worked at Neopost as a Sales Support Administrator for 15 years. When she moved to Southwest Florida, Jeannie had a calling to work in the healthcare industry. She worked at NCH Hospital for two years as a Patient Registrar before moving into the home health arena. In her work as an Office Administrator she was responsible for overall management of the agency, as well as supported scheduling and human resource activities.  When she is not working, Jeannine is the proud mother of two sons and adoring grandmother of two grandchildren.  In he spare time Jeannie enjoys travel and dance.

Brett Marston - Director of Human Resources

“Let us meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.” 

Brett joins the Life Home Health team with 18 years of healthcare leadership and sales experience in the arenas of Employee Assistance, Hospice and Senior LivingBrett is extremely passionate about end of life care having worked in hospice as a Social Worker, Bereavement Coordinator, Marketer and Executive Director. Brett also operated a private therapy practice in New Hope PA where he worked with individuals, couples and families.  Brett earned his MSW degree from Temple University in Philadelphia BA, and his BFA degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson. Brett continues to explore his passion for theater arts here in SW Florida where he acts and directs with multiple local community theater companies in Naples, Fort Meyers and Marco Island. Brett is an affirmed Hoosier from the great state of Indiana and continues to enjoy his Midwestern roots when he visits his family who resides in Kentucky. When not working or participating in theater activities, Brett enjoys the beach, movies, time with friends and being outdoors. 

Nicole Woessner - Director of Nursing

Nicole hails from the great state of New Jersey and began her nursing career in the long-term and acute care hospital settings.  After relocating to Southwest Florida with her husband Ron and their three boys several years ago, Nicole discovered the joy of working in home health when she began her journey with Life.  Starting out as a field nurse, Nicole’s passion for education, policy/procedural development and regulatory compliance was quickly recognized and she was elevated to the role of Assistant Director of Nursing. As the ADON she was able to assist in the training of field staff to ensure Life Home Health caregivers were providing the highest level of care to our clients. In addition to her leadership abilities, Nicole loves spending one-on-one time with clients and families.  “I love walking side-by-side on this journey with families, understanding that when a family contacts us for assistance, they are going through one of the most difficult times of their lives and they are about to entrust us with the care of their loved one…what a joyous gift.” As Director of Nursing, Nicole is thrilled to be leading the clinical and care teams here at Life Home Health. After witnessing the benefits of a holistic approach to medicine and treatments while working in the hospital setting, Nicole began exploring new caremodalities and is now a certified practitioner in multiple holistic approaches to healthcare.  When she is not cheering on her three sons in sporting activities, Nicole finds joy in photography, traveling and watching the Green Bay Packers.  

Christelle Maxime - Staffing Coordinator

Christelle has been working in healthcare for the past six years and still marvels at how precious life can beChristelle loves her role as Staffing Coordinator because she feels she can bring joy to staff, clients and their families every time she assists them with their schedules.  Christelle strives to create an amazing customer service experience each time she connects with clients and staff. Christelle is the joyous mother of two and loves the sense of family she has both at work and at home.  

Karen Scott - Client Care Coordinator

Karen is thrilled to be the Client Care Coordinator at Life Home Health. The role allows her to do whatshe feels passionate about…making sure each client and his/her family receives the most vibrant and joyous engagement possible.  Karen gets to develop a personal connection with the Life Home Healthstaff, as well as all the clients and families we serve.  “Making sure our clients get the activities and engagement they need brings me so much joy”. Karen understands the multiple losses clients and families experience as they are confronted with multiple health issues which impact the quality of their everyday life’s. Karen feels privileged to provide comfort and support to clients and their families duringone of the most vulnerable times in their life.  Karen strives to create joy for herself as well…she is adevout practitioner of meditation. She credits meditation for the balance in both her home and work life. Meditation helps me become a better version of myself” 

Bethanie Vesely - Clinical Team Supervisor

Bethanie has been with Life Home Health since the inception of the organization in 2017 and has truly discovered her passion and purpose in the processBethanie loves helping clients and their families navigate the multiple complexities of health care, while at the same time honoring and valuing their wishes, dreams and goals.  Although Bethanie acknowledges the work can be challenging at times, she loves sharing her clinical expertise, educating clients/families and assisting them through all of their healthcare needs. Always keen to experience something new, she enjoys traveling with her family whenever she canSome of her most memorable travels were visiting Germany, Austria, and Prague. She hopes one day to have a leisurely drive along the California coast…it would be a true moment of joy for her.  

Matthew Head - Senior Director of Operations

Matthew has held a business and entrepreneurial spirit from the time he started his own landscaping and property management business.  Matthew earned his Business Administration degree and later completed the Advanced Leadership Program at the Gardiner Center at Memorial University of Newfoundland and LabradorMatthew’s passion for community service prompted him to serve in not-for-profit community organizations that helped at-risk youth, adults with mental health issues, and those engaged in senior programs. He has worked in various roles ranging from a front-line Youth Care worker through to brand expansion and business developmentHis commitment to service is also reflected in his service to the military and his leadership involvement with the Chamber of Commerce.  As VP of Consumer Health Care and US Operations, Matthew plays a key role in leading Life Home Health and providing strategic oversight to a home health retailer Health Quest based in Canada. Matthew calls his wife Erin and their two children the light of his life, and he finds joy and relaxation when he is camping, hiking, and gardening. 

Kelly Occhiuzzo - Managing Partner

Kelly’s call to caregiving started at an early age after loving three generations of relatives who lived with Parkinsons and Alzheimers diseaseKelly has served in multiple care partnership and supportive roles throughout her healthcare career including, but not limited to Certified Nursing Assistant, Life Enrichment Coordinator, Community and Hospital Liaison, Director of Memory Care, Professional Guardian, Alzheimer’s Consultant, Business Development Director, and Executive leader.  Kelly completed her studies in Gerontology at Indiana UniversityPurdue University of Indianapolis with a focus on the clinical, business development and management aspects of gerontology. As a visionary Holistic Practitioner, Kelly is certified in the healing modalities of Jikiden Reiki, Tai Chi, and Meditation. Kelly has made a life-long commitment to developing and enhancing her healing and spiritual practicefor herself, for her family and for those she serves each and every dayKelly is a “life-long student who believes when the student is ready the teachers will come. She relishes time with her greatest teachersher husband Luis and their five grown children. She finds joy and relaxation spending quiet moments at home in the garden or hosting fun nightsin with friendsfamily and rescue fur-babies. Anne Whelan - Founder and CEO

Anne Whelan is the founder and CEO of Life Home Health.   A nationally recognized entrepreneur with deep experience in health and community care, Anne is a nationally recognized public speaker, board director and a mentor to women entrepreneurs.  Anne’s passion for leading businesses that are rooted in core values has led her to found a number of companies including Blue Sky Family Care, Momentum Developmental Support, and of course, Life Home Health.   Anne has been named to the board of the Bank of Canada, as well as the CSA (Canadian Standards Association) and chairs a regional Canadian power utility.   She’s received multiple awards for entrepreneurial success and contribution to community, and in 2019 was named Red Cross Humanitarian of the Year.  Anne loves to visit Southwest Florida and connect with our clients and the awesome people who are part of the Life Home Health team.
